{Paleo & Vegan} Shamrock Shake Recipe


Every St. Patrick’s Day, I see advertising for McDonald’s Shamrock Shake.

Yes, it’s green…but it’s green from food dye rather than healthy green fruit or vegetables. It’s full of processed sugars, artificial flavorings and milk sourced from who knows where.

The good news? There’s a much healthier – even Paleo & Vegan! – version of McDonald’s Shamrock Shake. Delicious doesn’t have to be guilty.

Healthy Shamrock Shake Recipe



1 can coconut milk (you can also sub 1 ¾ cups of any other type of milk)

1 avocado, peeled and seed removed

2 1/2 – 3 tablespoons pure raw honey, (or other sweetener of choice)

1 cup of ice

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
