How Khloe Kardashian Dropped 30 Pounds



Khloe Kardashian Makes Fitness a Priority

Recently, Khloe Kardashian dropped 30 pounds by “killing it in the gym.” According to Khloe’s personal trainer,Gunnar Peterson, he told  E! Online that the 29 year old Kardashian beauty has been working very hard in the gym three or four times a week to lose those 30 pounds. Khloe has been doing a mix of strength training sessions, boxing circuits, and medicine-ball workouts to get into shape. 

“I’ve definitely become obsessed with working out! It’s funny, because my weight has always fluctuated — but recently so many people have been saying “you look so good, you’ve lost all this weight.” It’s actually been about a year and a half that I’ve been making a lifestyle change. There’s no quick fix, I would say.

I love to box. Boxing is really fun, and it’s such a stress reliever. I’m just so busy having fun, I forget that I’m working out; 45 minutes go by and I’m dripping wet. We do a lot of workouts together, my sisters and I, and we go on a lot of hikes and walks outside. I never like doing the same workout two days in a row, I just get bored. I’ll try anything except surfing. I won’t go in the water. I’m terrified of whales and sharks. I’ll go in a pool, though.” – Khloe Karsashian, February 2014 issue of Cosmopolitan Australia

I absolutely agree with Khloe – there’s no quick fix to a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes it takes time and usually that’s when it stays for the long term.

Khloe’s Diet Strategy

Overall, Khloe eats pretty healthy most of the time. However, she admits that she loves to eat (don’t we all? lol)!

“If I were better with food, I’d probably lose weight faster, but I don’t want to. I work out really hard so I can have my champagne and that part of life. I’d rather take longer to lose weight but have fun doing it.” -Khloe Kardashian

It’s all about making small changes to create a new, healthier lifestyle. It can take time. It’s OK. It’s all about making steps towards your health goals and enjoying the journey because it’s a wonderful and fun learning experience!
