Eat Less Sugar!

eat less sugar

For better health…eat less refined, processed, and artificial sugars! Craving something sweet? You can enjoy a delicious piece of fruit or make yourself a healthy (and still yummy!) treat. There are plenty of healthy forms of sugar you can use in your kitchen to satisfy your sweet tooth without causing harm to your health.

Not sure why refined, processed, and artificial sugars are bad for your health? I suggest reading Twinkie’s Challenge: No Sugar or Artificial Sweeteners.

No One Runs In Your Family

obesity_runs_in_family

“Obesity runs in the family.”

“Heart Disease runs in the family”

“Depression runs in the family”

I hear these types of statements all the time. The more that I learn about the human body, the more I realize that what we expose our bodies to every day – food, exercise, toxins, etc – far outweigh our “genetics”. Is everyone in  your family overweight? It’s not in your genes. For those of you reading this, I hope you find this to be good news. You have a choice, and you can be healthy!!! :)

Cause of Most Chronic Diseases

“Today, more than 95% of all chronic disease is caused by food choice, toxic food ingredients, nutritional deficiencies and lack of physical exercise.”  ~Mike Adams

We only have one body, we might as well take good care of it. I suggest learning how to read food labels so you can avoid toxic ingredients, and learn how to cook food at home. In addition to providing your body with the nutrients it needs, start an exercise program and stick to it. Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean eating well and exercising until you reach weight loss or a particular goal. Living a healthy lifestyle means you eat healthy and exercise regularly because this is just what you do. It’s a way of life. Living a healthy lifestyle will yield positive results.

Eat real food. Exercise regularly. Problem Solved.
